The parking review gets results for residents

Brunswick's Parking Review has reached its final stage, with councillors considering final recommendations next week. The proposals see considerable progress in meeting the needs of Brunswick residents who face a daily battle for spaces.

Brunswick & Adelaide ward Councillor Paul Elgood said:

'This is the culmination of the parking review, which will considerably increase the spaces available in the Brunswick area for residents to park in. By removing unnecessary yellow lines we have been able to increase the number of parking bays by 15 per cent across the zone. Demand will always outstrip supply for parking space in Brunswick, but this is a positive and much needed step forward.'
