Brunswick & Adelaide Councillors launch Annual Report12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Mon 2nd Feb 2004
Brunswick & Adelaide's Lib Dem Councillors Paul Elgood and David Watkins have launched their Fifth Annual Report. Each year the Councillors produce a special, Annual Report for residents to keep them up-to-date on local issues. This complements the highly successful monthly Focus newsletter in the ward, which has had over three hundred editions since being launched by Bob Bailey in the 1970s. 5,000 copies will be distributed across the ward during February, and the report is also available at the Cornerstone Community Centre in Church Road, Hove. Councillor Paul Elgood said: "We always report back to residents on their behalf and seek their views. We think it is very important to keep local people up-to-date on issues in the neighbourhood." Councillor David Watkins added: "Its been a busy year with a range of issues coming up from parking to the way the council collects rubbish. We also want to ensure that we have a two-way dialogue with residents so that we can keep on raising their views at the council." Related Link:Read the Brunswick and Adelaide Annual Report Online.
