Paul Elgood: Lobbying for more residents parking has paid off.

A long overdue review of parking in Brunswick & Adelaide will see a dramatic increase in the number of bays available for residents. Council Officers have responded to the pleas of the ward councillors and residents to create more space for parking and proposed the creation of a large number of extra bays.

Local Lib Dem Councillor Paul Elgood, who has led the debate for improved parking in the area said:

"Two years of hard lobbying has paid off. More bays will be created and we even hope the waiting list for permits will be removed. This will assist residents no end."

A special report has been agreed by councillors.
